Forum’s Focus On Brunei’s Business Environment

Bandar Seri Begawan – The upcoming Asia Inc Forum’s Local Business Development Forum will focus On Brunei’s current business environment involving the opportunities generated by relaxations of the regulatory framework for SME development, economic growth and best practice ease on doing business.
Led by ABAC, member Fauziah Dato Talib, the programme is expect i ng an audience comprising entrepreneurs, corporate leaders and officers from the government sector.
One of the featured guest speakers will be Dr Peter Wilson, a Consultant to the Economic Policy Group at the Monetary Authority of Singapore. He will be sharing his insights and analysis of the Singapore economy’s success in creating conducive environment for the growth of SMEs.
His experiences include consulting for the Economics and Research Department at the Asian Development Bank.
He currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at Singapore Management University, a Masters Course at the Adelaide Business School in Singapore and is also a guest lecturer at Nanyang Technological University.
Under a central theme of “Tiny Ripples, Huge Wave: Creating Greater Competitive Advantage for Local Businesses”, the forum will take place on November 18 at The Empire Hotel and Country Club.
