The Corporate Partnership Program aims to continuously provide a platform for dialogue between business, government and other stakeholders on the challenge of sustainable economic development for Brunei Darussalam and to promote public-private partnership and cooperation in Brunei Darussalam.

2011 Brunei Business Forum

“Promising Opportunities, Sustainable Approaches”

September 15th 2011 at the Radisson Hotel

The Brunei Business Forum is a forum for CEOs, entrepreneurs and members of government to dialogue around sustainability issues and best practices. The forum will be led by Mr Steve McCoy, a prominent sustainability strategist in Malaysia and founder of Counterpoint, a boutique consultancy firm based in Kuala Lumpur which provides support services on sustainability for the corporate, government and non-profit sectors.

National Environment Conference 2011

“Green Brunei: Ideas for a Sustainable Country”

The Conference
The National Environment Conference, now on its 4th year, is Brunei’s premier and largest conference on environmental sustainability. The conference aims to continuously provide a platform for engaging the public and private sector on the issues of environmental stewardship, natural resources management, and green business for a sustainable future. This year’s annual conference will focus on the state of our environment and the priorities of our government – from water to marine conservation, disaster preparedness, sustainable green business and alternative energy. The invited experts abroad will assess how we can best mitigate or adapt to our changing climate.

The Green Awards
The theme of the Youth Green Initiative Awards – “Saving our World, Saving our Future” will seek to recognize the contribution of the young citizens of Brunei in promoting environmental awareness on the effects of climate change and global warming as well stimulating their creative minds in taking action to save the environment for their future through innovative green solutions.

Green Showcase 2011
The green showcase will include shortlisted entries of the NEC 2011 Youth Green Initiative Awards, the ISB Short green video competition , display of green initiatives/programmes by the conference partners and local businesses promoting green products and services aimed at encouraging people to adopt a green lifestyle.
