BAIDURI Bank has partnered with Asia Inc Forum to organise the Local Business Development (LBD) Forum and Workshop from September 27-28 in line with its commitment to nurture local small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

The event, to be held at Radisson Hotel, is a learning, sharing and networking opportunity for Brunei businesses, professionals and social enterprises aptly bearing the theme of ‘Finding Opportunity in Challenging Times’.

Among the invited speakers are Javed Ahmad, the CEO of DARe (Darussalam Enterprise); Raj Kumar, the CEO of UCSI Blue Ocean Strategy Consulting; and William Du, Founder and CEO of Ingenious Haus Group, Malaysia.

Additionally, the forum will feature local entrepreneurs, Shy Nokman, Founder of Sparkle with Shy; Lily Chiam, Founder of Expressions Music; and Vanessa Teo, Founder of AGROME IQ.

The forum is open to about 150 local business owners and managers, corporate executives and professionals. The sessions are designed to stimulate creative thinking toward business prospects and handling difficulties, which will be complemented by inspiring real-life experiences and lessons.

Creating uncontested market space, capturing more loyal customers, successfully taking an idea to reality, and what it takes to survive dark periods in business are some of the discussions which delegates can expect.

As part of Baiduri Bank’s corporate social responsibility, Baiduri Bank is also giving away two seats to attend the LBD Forum on their Instagram.

Interested business owners need to record a video of them sharing why they want to go to the LBD Forum and post it on their Instagram. Participants will need to tag @baiduribank to be entered.
