Brunei’s Asia Inc Forum entered into an agreement in January 2014 with the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), one of ASEAN’s leading business schools based in Manila, to co-convene the Asian Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility (AFCSR), the largest and longest running conference on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Asia.

Now on its 13th year, this year’s AFCSR Conference will take place in Manila this September. Around 500 delegates from business, government and social enterprises from over 30 countries are expected to attend AFCSR 2014 to share ideas on “Building Resilient Communities: How Business, Government and Social Enterprises can Work Together.”

“We are delighted to be a part of this important platform for CSR thought leadership and best practice,” says Dato Timothy Ong who is the Chairman of AFCSR 2014. “This important conference will also recognize companies for outstanding CSR initiatives in Education, Environment, Health and Poverty Alleviation through the AFCSR awards as well as the prestigious Intel AIM Corporate Responsibility Award.”

“AIM is pleased to partner Asia Inc Forum in convening AFCSR 2014,” says Professor Francisco Roman of the AIM. “AIM is a leader in thought leadership and research on CSR in Asia, while Asia Inc Forum is a leader in the conference business”.

The AFCSR has been supported by global brands committed to CSR including Intel, Chevron, Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Nestle and Fuji Xerox and leading ASEAN corporations such as Ayala Corporation, Metro Pacific and the Lippo Group.
