Bandar Seri Begawan – In conjunction with the upcoming National Environment Conference scheduled to take place on June 8, Asia Inc Forum yesterday launched a Twitter competition called “Are You Green?” that will take place over the next four weeks.

According to a press release, this competition is primarily aimed at engaging the local community and to stimulate thought around the issues to be discussed at the conference.

During the competition, one question will be `tweeted’ each week. Respondents will get a chance to win free seats to the National Environment Conference. The winners will be announced in Asia Inc Forum’s Twitter page every Tuesday starting May 17.

To take part, respondents with a valid Twitter account are invited to “follow” @AsiaIncForum to keep track of the weekly questions. Those who aren’t on Twitter yet are welcome to join by signing up on the Twitter website.

The annual National Environment Conference is a not to be missed annual opportunity to meet and interact with distinguished overseas resources who can provide new learnings and insights on ideas which will be discussed at a public forum for the first time in Brunei.

Topics that will be discussed include marine biodiversity, disaster management, youth advocacy and green ideas that will feature leading overseas figures including Brendon Sing, Founder, The Shark Guardian and Mark Cheng, Co-Founder, Avelife Foundation, as well as an invited speaker from Emergency Management Australia.

The National Environment Conference is convened by Asia Inc Forum in collaboration with Alcoa, Butra HeidelbergCement, Total and HSBC and supported by the Borneo Bulletin and Media Permata.
